Reading and writing skills/habits have been identified as a marker of success in formal education and somehow there’s a silent general belief that progress of all kinds depends on one’s ability to read and understand written text.
I believe that this reading and writing program can really help people in many ways. When folks learn to read and write well, it makes a big difference in their education and success. Being able to read and understand what is being written is super important, not just in school/education but also in everyday life. It helps individuals not only do better in their studies but also become smarter thinkers and problem solvers. Plus, when lots of people in a community can read and write, it creates a stronger and smarter community overall, paving the way for progress in many areas like jobs creation, partnerships and culture development.
Our program focuses on training teachers how to teach reading and the children are encouraged to read widely, make original writing compositions like poems, stories, and simple reports
