I am a passionate and accomplished leader driving societal transformation across Africa through technology. With a PhD in Public Management and Governance from the University of Johannesburg and a solid foundation in industrial engineering, I am results-driven and highly experienced in managing community-based programs. My expertise extends to Monitoring and Evaluation, ensuring that the projects I lead are not only impactful but also sustainable.

As the founder of Code for Africa Now (CAN), a pioneering social enterprise, I have set an ambitious goal of equipping 10 million Africans with critical coding and technological skills. Our mission is to bridge the digital divide, enabling marginalized communities to fully participate in the digital economy. Through CAN, we empower Africa’s most underserved populations, particularly women, children, and youth, by providing hands-on training in digital literacy, robotics, and coding.

With over a decade of experience in the fields of digital literacy, coding, robotics, and public policy, I am deeply committed to fostering a future where Africa leads in technological innovation. My work is grounded in the belief that digital literacy is a fundamental necessity, not a luxury. By nurturing local solutions to local challenges, I am helping build a robust ecosystem of technologists, innovators, and entrepreneurs who will drive Africa’s participation in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

My holistic approach focuses on empowering girls, women, youth and children across Africa, ensuring that no one is left behind. I am dedicated to mentoring emerging leaders, advocating for the ethical and inclusive use of emerging technologies, and collaborating with global stakeholders to scale the impact of digital transformation across the continent.
